What makes this Markdown editor different
- Looks like GitHub. Tables, task lists, code blocks and heading anchors render the way a README does, so you can check one before you push.
- Safe with any input. HTML inside the Markdown is cleaned with DOMPurify, and the preview runs in a sandboxed frame where scripts can't run.
- Private. Rendering happens in your browser. Your draft is saved in this browser only, so a reload doesn't lose it.
Questions
Which Markdown flavour is this?
GitHub-flavoured Markdown (GFM): CommonMark plus tables, task lists, strikethrough and autolinked URLs.
Why don't single line breaks show?
In Markdown a single newline joins lines into one paragraph. Leave a blank line, end the line with two spaces, or tick Line breaks to treat every newline as a break, like GitHub comments.
Can I use HTML in my Markdown?
Yes, ordinary HTML like <details>, <kbd> or <img width> works. Scripts, event handlers, forms and styles are removed.
How do I convert Markdown to HTML?
Write or paste it, then use Copy HTML for the fragment or Download .html for a complete page with styling.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, and the draft is only stored in this browser's local storage.
